Brief introduction of cupro fiber

Copper ammonia fiber is a kind of regenerated cellulose fiber. It is made by dissolving natural cellulose raw materials such as cotton linters in a concentrated ammonia solution of copper hydroxide or alkaline copper salt to form a spinning solution. Spinning into a coagulation bath, and then in a second bath containing 2% to 3% sulfuric acid solution, the copper ammonia fiber molecule chemical substance is decomposed to regenerate cellulose. The resulting hydrated cellulose can be post-processed to obtain cupro-ammonia fiber.

Copper ammonia fiber is a unique product that integrates a variety of fiber styles. It has the following advantages:

(1) The cross-section of cupro ammonia fiber is round and has no skin-core structure. The fiber can withstand a high degree of stretching, and the produced monofilament is relatively thin, generally below 1.33dtex (1.2 denier), up to 0.44dtex (0.4 denier). Therefore, the cupra fiber has the characteristics of soft hand feeling, soft luster and silk feeling;

(2) Copper ammonia fiber uses cotton pulp or wood pulp as raw material, which is easily decomposed by bacteria in the soil and water, and will not damage the natural environment. It is an environmentally friendly green fiber;

(3) The dry strength of copper ammonia fiber is similar to that of viscose fiber, but the wet strength is much higher than that of viscose fiber, and the abrasion resistance is also better than that of viscose fiber;

(4) Copper ammonia fiber has excellent moisture absorption, air permeability and antistatic properties.
Due to the excellent characteristics of cupra, its fabric is soft, smooth, silky, comfortable to wear, and excellent in wearability, and can be used as a high-end yarn-dyed fabric.
